As with every fan, we like to imagine ourselves in a situation where we can come up with our own movie or story for our favorite franchises. Maybe it is a cross over with another franchise we love or maybe we explore something wild and crazy that we would like to see personally. Recently, I have been having some ideas floating in my head and the most prominent one is for a Godzilla anime that I would like to see.

We have seen Godzilla destroy Japan countless times and he is going global in the Monsterverse films. We have seen Godzilla explore the realm of anime, but they did not hit home for me. Characters were uninteresting and Godzilla had no personality. Right now, O'Shea Jackson Jr. is trying to get his own Godzilla anime off the ground and the current status is that it no longer has any connection to the Monsterverse and is going to be a stand-alone project. With that, I want to share an idea of my own.

The anime is called "Godzilla Divine." This is the summary I have:

In the kingdom Vaeloria, the war against the demons rages on for centuries. When a group of mages come together to cast a new, powerful spell to end the Demon King's reign, the spell fails to kill the Demon King and tears open a portal to another world.

Meanwhile, Godzilla, the king of the monsters, was in a heated battle with his arch nemesis, King Ghidorah. Just as Godzilla was about to conclude the fight, the tear into his reality opens and is tossed into the realm of magic along with Dr. Ken Yamane, who has been studying Godzilla. Dr. Yamane and his half-elf companion, zoologist Emi Willowshade, follow Godzilla as he traverses this magical realm as he struggles to adapt to this new world.

In "Godzilla Divine," Godzilla will come across monsters he has never seen before all the while the Demon King is in the process of reviving and weaponizing Godzilla's nemesis. The story would span over 12 episodes.

Episodes:

  1. "Enter the King"

The war between demons and the kingdom of Vaeloria has raged for centuries! Humans, elves, and dwarves working together to stop the Demon King as they gather their most powerful mages to conjure a spell that could end the war permanently. The spell fails and tears open a portal to another world. Meanwhile in Japan, a battle between the mightiest of titans is about to come to a climax. Godzilla, the king of the monsters, is fighting his arch nemesis, King Ghidorah, the false king with three heads, and Dr. Kentaro Yamane has a front row view from the roof of his research facility. Suddenly, a portal opens sucking in Godzilla, King Ghidorah, and Ken Yamane. Ken wakes up in the middle of a forest where a young maiden looks over him to make sure he is not injured. Ken looks around unfamiliar with his surroundings and asks where he is. The girl responds kindly saying he is in Lunerith Glade. Ken doesn't know where that is and asks if it is in Europe or America. The girl looks at him with confusion saying she has never heard of those places before. She introduces herself as Emi Willowshade, a half-elf zoologist. Ken takes a moment to collect himself and laughs trying to rationalize that this girl must be cosplaying. Not liking being laughed at, Emi casts a spell that causes a small explosion. Ken now believes there is something very wrong and that he is definitely not in Japan anymore. He asks Emi what country this is, which she responds confirming he is in the kingdom of unity, Vaeloria. Being kind to Ken, Emi asks him to follow her to the nearest village. Godzilla finds himself in a familiar surrounding deep in an ocean. He swims to the surface to take a peak to find a strange new world he is not familiar with. However, he senses danger from nearby. A village that was under attack. A dragon, taking pleasure in tormenting its prey, chases after the villagers who are fleeing to escape. The dragon corners a mother of two children slowly creeping on them as they cry praying for someone to save them. As the dragon was about to take the life of a mother and the two children, Godzilla announces his presence with a roar demanding the dragon's attention. Emi and Ken arrive at the village that is currently under attack by a fire dragon and the villagers were running as far away from the dragon as possible. Suddenly, the ground trembles and a familiar sound echoes through Ken's ears. He has arrived. Out in the distance, Godzilla rises out of the ocean and marches towards the dragon's location. The fight between Godzilla and the fire dragon commence. The dragon starts off sizing up to scare Godzilla away, but Godzilla is unfazed. The dragon is hot tempered as Godzilla takes a fight-ready stance and the dragon flies towards Godzilla for the attack. This turned out to be a fatal mistake as Godzilla strikes the dragon down with his tail like a fly swatted by a fly swatter. Godzilla pins the dragon with his foot demanding the dragon to yield, but the dragon spits fire into Godzilla's face as an attempt to escape. This only made Godzilla mad and sealing the dragon's fate. Godzilla presses down on the dragon's chest crushing the dragon and roars triumphantly. The mother smiles as she and her two children that her prayers were answered as if by a divine intervention.

  1. "The Were-Beast"

Emi and the villagers watched in terror and awe as Godzilla was able to kill a dragon so easily, but Dr. Ken Yamane smiles and yet unfazed by the result of the fight. Emi takes great interest in Ken as she scribbles images and notes of Godzilla since he sounded like he knows a lot about the monster. She tries to come up with a name for the monster like Apex Overlord or something cheesy, but none of them stuck. Ken reveals his name is Godzilla, which sends shivers down Emi's back from the excitement. Seeing how she is so interested in Godzilla, Ken proposes a deal that he can teach her everything he knows about Godzilla and travel with him if Emi can teach him magic to protect himself. Her magic is personal, but agrees to the deal. They follow Godzilla by day and learn magic by night. Emi even shows him where magic comes from and how it can be harnessed from pools of mana called "fonts" and can store them in crystals in case they ran out of mana to use magic. They even take up tasks found in the adventurer's guild to get paid just enough to buy supplies and food. During their travels, Ken overhears whispers about a monster defeating a dragon. He knows they're talking about Godzilla, but he hears them claim the stories must be fake. No monster could do defeat a dragon so easily or speculate maybe it could be a sign from the gods claiming retribution. Out of curiosity, Ken asks about the dragon Godzilla killed and why it came to such a shock to everyone. Emi explains that dragons are one of the most difficult monsters to kill. They are almost invincible because their scales are like armor. Not even a sword can pierce through a dragon's hide so easily. The easiest way to kill them is when they are young and underdeveloped. Otherwise, people and even other monsters try to avoid coming into conflict with one if a dragon decides to invade their territory. The dragon Godzilla killed was a full grown adult and to see a monster like Godzilla kill one without trying is completely unheard of. Meanwhile, the Demon King sees Godzilla as either a potential threat or a potential ally, which he sends a monster to test him. He sends a giant, wolf-like beast to attack Godzilla. Our protagonists have a run in with the Were-Beast. At first, the glow of the Were-Beast's eyes reminded Emi of Lunthar, the Forest "Monarch," a bear-like monster who saved Emi from a gang prejudice elves from years ago. However, the Were-Beast's demonic mana is completely different in color from Lunthar's pure blue and green mana. It can smell Godzilla's scent on them and growls moving closer on them. Ken covers Emi keeping her behind him as he tries to use some of his magic he learned. He uses fire magic, which did nothing to the beast. Ken tries again this time, shooting a fire ball into the air like a flare. Emi scolds him for having horrible aim and Ken tells her to watch as he shoots more into the air. The Were-Beast moves in and opens its maw ready to chomp on them. It stops as Godzilla comes and knocks the monster to a cliff. Godzilla was attracted to Ken's flares, just as he expected. Emi was impressed with Ken in getting Godzilla to respond with the flares. Godzilla struggles a little bit by the Were-Beast's speed and prowess, but gains the upper hand as he uses his atomic blast at the monster. Emi is blown away by Godzilla's extensive power thinking it is fire. However, Ken reveals this is not fire, but pure radiation, an element this world never heard of before. The Demon King is impressed by Godzilla's power, but the real test will begin as soon as the three headed dragon has been revived.

  1. "Guardian of the Mountain Village"

Mountain Troll from "Troll 2"
Mountain Troll from Troll 2 representing Rog, The Iron Monarch

Dr. Ken Yamane and Emi Willowshade arrive at a village called Ironcrag, which is located near the base of a mountain, to stock up on supplies. Ken looks around and notices idol statues in front of the shops and homes of the village. One of the shop clerks tells of a story about a mountain troll that sits at the top of the mountain watching over the village. Years ago, an army of demons tried to swarm the village. However, the mountain troll came down from the mountain and protected the village sending the demon army running for their lives. Intrigued, Emi starts writing and sketching the idols of the mountain troll and starts calling him "Rog, the Iron Monarch." Brok, the captain of the Vaelorian army, strolls through the markets of Ironcrag on patrol. He passes by a shop where he stops to see Emi and Ken talking to the shop clerk. He gets a suspicious feeling as he scratches his thick, red beard. Perhaps it is the odd clothing Ken is wearing. Whatever this gut feeling he has he can't pin them over it. Suddenly, a dwarf scout comes rushing to Captain Brok warning that Godzilla is on his way. The warning bells begin to ring letting the village know that danger is coming. At the top of the mountain, the bells can be faintly heard, but it was enough to awaken the mountain troll. Rog races down the mountain to the bottom and stands firmly in front of Godzilla. Ken assumes Godzilla had sensed the troll here and wanted to fight him, but Rog does not take challenges lightly. Rog grabs a tree and rushes towards Godzilla. Godzilla uses his atomic breath, which Rog dodges with ease and strikes at Godzilla's head with the tree combined with shoving the tree down Godzilla's throat. Godzilla backs up and crushes the tree with his teeth. Rog pounds the ground as a threat and Godzilla charges up to fire his atomic breath. The troll charges Godzilla again, but this time Godzilla getting a strike in. He claws and swipes at Rog, which puts the troll at a difficult position and to switch strategies. As the battle rages, the villagers evacuate away from the battle and to the safety of the mountains with Ken and Emi assisting with the evacuation efforts and using magic to prevent falling debris from crushing civilians. All the while, Rog and Godzilla clash as punches are thrown. However, the sounds of the bell ringing is hurting Rog making him more irritable. With Rog distracted, Godzilla strikes Rog with his tail knocking him and falling backwards. Rog sees there are still villagers that have not gone to safety and Godzilla is about to use his atomic breath once more. Rog shields the villagers as Godzilla fires, but it doesn't land. Rather, Godzilla shot his breath into the sky and away from Rog. The troll looks at Godzilla confused. Godzilla nods acknowledging his strength and honor. A rare sight to witness even for Ken as he recounts his memories to Emi one other time Godzilla acknowledged another monster. After the two monsters acknowledged each other, Godzilla turns away from the village and Rog returns to his home on the mountain top.

  1. "The Mana Monster"

As time passed, Godzilla's name spreads through out the kingdom. A monster that can defeat a dragon with ease, killed a Were-Beast with a strange, blue fire, and went toe to toe with a mountain troll, and rumors of fights with other monsters are all people are talking about. Word spreads to his majesty, King Arden Vaelor, and he has grown more concern than amazed by the stories of Godzilla. From his view, Godzilla could turn out to be a problem for the kingdom despite not really giving any sign of him being a threat to anyone. After learning there were two adventurers following the beast, King Arden order to deploy a spy, Sylvara Krenn, to follow Dr. Ken Yamane and Emi Willowshade and report all of Godzilla's activity. All the while, Ken has noticed Godzilla is getting tired out and there is no radiation in this world for Godzilla to consume. His dorsals flicker and dims with each step he takes showing signs of him getting tired. Sylvara, hiding on a tree top, masks her presence with illusion magic as she trails the pair of adventurers writing down the events taking place. Even though Godzilla can't see her, Sylvara is shook by the sheer size of the monster as he passes her. Her hands shaking as memories of her childhood come back to her. She shrugs it off and continues to watch. Godzilla comes to a stop at a gorge. Curious, Ken and Emi go see what he is looking at and found the gorge is full mana crystals. The ground quakes and Godzilla falls into the gorge. There he finds another monster lurking over him. The monster is covered in mana crystals and is reptilian like. Using the mana from the crystals, it can use any elemental power (fire, ice, wind, lightning) that it so desired. Godzilla can barely fight as he is in his weakened state, but the mana gives him a temporary power boost to keep him going. However, the mana depletes very quickly and Godzilla must keep consuming the mana. Not even a weak atomic breath is powerful enough to do any damage. Godzilla tries another approach and attempts to climb on the back of the mana monster to consume the mana. The beast uses an electric attack to shock Godzilla, but he doesn't budge. Godzilla holds as he continues to consume the mana. Suddenly, the electric attacks die down and Godzilla falls to the ground. Godzilla is worn out, but there is no more mana left for the mana beast to use. As the monster was about to chomp down on Godzilla, Godzilla raises his head and makes one large blast into mouth of the beast. Godzilla just barely surviving the ordeal, collapse and sleeps while collecting the mana inside the gorge. Sylvara was stunned by Godzilla's raw power and jots down in her letter to King Arden about the monster's need to consume mana. Godzilla wakes up after some rest and moves on.

  1. "Kangaroo Court"

In a flash back, King Arden Vaelor, still mourning over Queen Lirien's death, is introduced to a young Sylvara, an elf child who had lost her home and parents to the giant serpent, Vyrneth. Sympathizing with the elf child, he takes her in and raises Sylvara as his own daughter while also training her to perfect her illusion magic to become a spy for Vaeloria. Fast forward, we find Sylvara now tracking Ken and Emi. They continue following Godzilla, which he is heading South sensing something. Sylvara receives a letter back. An order from King Arden to bring them to his court to be questioned about their knowledge of Godzilla. Sylvara steps out of the shadows and delivers the notice of the summons to Ken and Emi. She escorts the duo to the capital city, Auralith, the city of unity between humans, elves, and dwarves. They enter the Grand Spire where King Arden and his court full of scholars await their arrival. The court's welcome is tense, but formal. They waste no time and ask about their involvement with Godzilla challenging Godzilla's status as a protector, especially from King Arden. However, Emi's notes and sketches of Godzilla's travels as well as other monsters proves otherwise. Showing examples of Lunthar, the Forest Monarch and Rog, the Iron Monarch, as examples that not all monsters are like Vyrneth. Furthermore, Ken points out the colorization of a monster's mana has a stark contrast and can be used to tell which monsters are benevolent or malevolent. Listening in on the arguments between both sides, Sylvara starts to question her views on the monsters, but still not yet convinced. Sylvara overhears about a planned trap set by King Arden to lure Godzilla to a mana font near Ironcrag. She slips a note to Emi and Ken warning them of the trap. After the meeting, Sylvara joins the duo departing to Ironcrag where Godzilla roars in hunger.

  1. "Echoes of the Abyss"

Dr. Ken Yamane, Emi, and now Sylvara head to Ironcrag where King Arden and his army has set the trap. Using Sylvara's illusion magic to sneak by the guards, they go to investigate the mana font discovering it is radiating with demonic energy. Emi names the mana font "Demon Well" in her notes and sketches. She tries to get a closer look, but Ken holds her back to protect her. Upon reaching out for Emi, he accidentally comes in contact with the demonic mana and Ken's body shakes as thoughts of the past start flooding back. We see memories of his past of an experiment that went wrong. A past failure that still haunts him to this day. We learn his passion to study Godzilla came from his grandfather who was there when Godzilla first appeared in Japan in 1954 and how he wanted to continue where his grandfather left off. As a lead researcher of Godzilla, he met his colleague and crush Erika. She was full of life, but always stubborn. He had an idea to lure Godzilla to a secluded island with a nuclear bomb. However, it attracted another monster that crawled on all fours and covered in spikes to the island causing the two monsters to fight. Everyone was evacuating, but Erika stayed behind to record the event. Ken tried to save her, but Godzilla's tail hit the facility by accident killing Erika. Emi notices something is wrong with Ken and asks why his body is trembling. Laying her hands on his, Ken snaps out of his memory and looks to Emi who looks worried about him. Sylvara teases the pair that they should get a room if they want to continue this tender moment, which made them feel embarrassed. Ken redirects their focus away from him towards another concern of Godzilla being able to withstand the corrupt mana font. Ken reveals that Godzilla's origin did start with him being a force of nature that had a grudge with humanity and how he was forced to become his world's protector as more powerful monsters emerged. It was as if Godzilla and the human race were able to find a way to co-exist. The point he makes is that this trap set by King Arden is a really bad idea and has witnessed first hand how all of this will conclude. Suddenly, the ground rumbles knowing full well Godzilla is close by. The trio rush out of the way, but Emi heads to another direction to look for King Arden and stop the attack. Irked by Emi running out toward the battlefield Ken chases after her with Sylvara following behind. Meanwhile, King Arden is getting his soldiers and mages positioned and ready for their attack. They will wait until Godzilla arrives at the mana font and attack the monster as soon as he starts consuming the mana. King Arden watches from afar for his safety, but at least he can at least watch the monster die in front of him. The soldiers sound the alert of Godzilla's approach on the mana font. They get into position as planned holding off on the attack until the right moment.

Burning Godzilla from "Godzilla vs Destroyah"
Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destroyah representing Godzilla's possessed form

Godzilla arrives at the Demon Well and begins absorbing the mana and his dorsals illuminating brighter from his consumption. Emi makes her way past the guards trying to get to King Arden. She pleads with him to not attack Godzilla, but he refuses to listen and orders his guards to get her out of his sight. Godzilla's body begins to see changes. The blue glow from Godzilla's dorsals and eyes are turning red and his body becoming so hot there is smoke coming off of him. He roars as if he is in terrible pain and collapses to the ground. Ken, Emi, Sylvara, King Arden, and all of his troops watch the event unravel. King Arden orders his mages to begin the long range attack. Beams of light shine from their magical staff and magic of different elements are fired. All of them made direct hits. Ken murmurs to Sylvara that it is not over. Godzilla now illuminated with demonic aura retaliates with a red atomic breath destroying the line of mages. The next line of defense prepare the catapults getting ready to fire. Godzilla fires again with his atomic breath destroying the next line of defense. He marches forward each step melting into the ground towards King Arden and his men calling for a retreat as Godzilla's foot comes stomping down on the soldiers running away for their lives. As Godzilla was charging up his atomic breath, Rog, the Iron Monarch, comes charging in knocking Godzilla to the ground. The two clash once again. This time, Rog is trying to get Godzilla to come to his senses. Ken and Sylvara are trying to look for Emi. She wanders around in the middle of the battlefield scared for her life. Ken finds Emi, but she is standing motionless. Godzilla was almost right on top of her. With fear in his eyes he races down calling for her. Just before Ken could grab her he sees a vision of Erika reaching out for him. Ken grabs her hand and holds Emi in his arms just before Godzilla's tail came slamming down. Ken and Emi were safe lucky to have gotten out of the way in time. Rog is throwing punch after punch trying to get Godzilla to snap out of it. Godzilla is worn down, but furious. He slams the mountain troll down and claws at Rog in a fit of rage. Suddenly, Godzilla's eyes and dorsals turn back to blue and slams the ground next to Rog. The troll gets back up and notices a difference in Godzilla. He is back to normal. Godzilla looks around to see the damage he caused and turns to Rog noding to him that it is okay. Godzilla, saddened by the destruction, walks off and disappears. King Arden looks over his fallen men swirling with anger. He swears that he will get his revenge on Godzilla one way or another. Meanwhile, the Demon King's army is marching towards Auralith where they make their first attempt to invade the capital city of unity.

  1. "Vyrneth's Assault"

In the outskirts of Ironcrad, a trap laid for Godzilla has failed leaving only decay of death. Ken, after his heroic rescue, holds Emi in his arms calming her down and having a tender moment. Sylvara looks over to her adopted father, King Arden, to see him overlooking the destruction in the aftermath of Godzilla's retaliation. She sets her sights on the chaos bringing back frightening memories of her home village, Ash Veil Hollow, being destroyed by a monster. A vision of a smaller Sylvara running away as her parents reach for her before being killed by debris. Just seeing the dead bodies laying on the ground mangled and crushed by either debris or from the monster itself and fires setting the village ablaze. Looking back to her compatriots, Emi calms down and Ken scolds her for running away from the group. Emi explains that she was just trying to convince Arden to not go through with the attack and he ended up not listening. Sylvara joins in on the conversation adding that she knows Arden for a long time and once he set his mind on something it is almost impossible to change his mind. He takes action first and ask questions later. King Arden sees Sylvara and sighs in relief that she is okay, but annoyed she is still with Emi and Ken. He focuses on the rest of the battlefield seeing more and more dead soldiers being dragged in a row. There were hardly any survivors and the ones who did survive are overwhelmed with their minds racing over what they experienced. King Arden calls to one of his generals asking for a body count totaling over a hundred and more than half are charred beyond recognition. Arden orders to have the bodies that are recognizable to be sent back home and to notify the families while the ones that are beyond recognizable to be buried with unmarked graves. He resumes that after that is done to have every soldier ready for another assault on Godzilla. The general warns of low morale and it would be wise to regroup back at Auralith to plan their next strategy. Arden yells at his general saying to do what he says and the general goes silent only responding with nod before he walks away. Sylvara overhears Arden yelling at one of his generals and marches over beside him to talk. She asks about their situation finding out about Arden's desire to continue the assault. Sylvara recommends that is not a good idea and Arden responds that this is not the time to defy orders. She explains that Godzilla's assault was not on his own accord, but rather he was temporarily possessed by the demonic energy that poisoned mana font. King Arden refuses to listen to any more about mana and the mana font. Instead, he forces her to look at the destruction and how many of his men that have died by Godzilla asking her if this is what a protector does. Confused and shocked by his response, she asks what happened to the man that adopted her when she had no home. He glares at the two adventurers and back to Sylvara warning her to be careful with who she aligns herself with. Arden is called by another one of his generals insistent that they need to head back to Auralith. Getting on his nerves, he yells at his general saying they are not going anywhere until this mission is complete. However, the general warns that Auralith may fall by an army of demons if they don't hurry back in time and that they're being lead by a giant serpent-like monster. He sighs from the stress and orders to have backup sent to Skarengard, a merchant village near Auralith, to cut off the demon army's path and hold them off. He walks away with his general giving one last glance at Sylvara. Sylvara heads back to Emi and Ken telling them of the situation that demon invasion force is on their way to Auralith and her father is sending backup to stop their advancements. Emi and Ken are stunned by this revelation and ask further questions about her relation with King Arden. Sylvara reveals to them that both she and Arden had lost somebody from a monster called Vyrneth. She lost a whole village while King Arden lost his wife, Queen Lirien, and Arden took Sylvara in while she really young. He was much more warm-hearted back then, but in his old age he is becoming more irrational with how he gives orders. Once Godzilla arrived and word of his name spread he took it personal. Emi and Ken understood why Arden is wanting Godzilla gone and how they're being treated harshly. Now, Vyrneth is back with an army trailing behind it. Godzilla is gonna want to have a fight with this snake in the grass. The trio hustle as they make their way to Skarengard. As they were about to leave, something passes by the corner of Emi's eye. It looked large with a blue and green aura. She quickly turns around to find nothing out of the ordinary. She swore she saw something, but shrugs it off as her imagination as she quickly catches up to her friends. In Skarengard, King Arden has as few as three hundred men ready to stand and fight an onslaught of demons. Arden has been waiting for a long time to have this moment where he can finally kill Vyrneth by his blade. The soldiers are calling for everyone in the village to evacuate and head to Auralith. Fear grips the town as lines of carriages, wagons, and families are impatiently pushing each other to escape. As people evacuate, a loud screech echoes from behind the hills. A large head with a long neck and glowing red eyes rises from the hill side and scales radiating with purple-colored mana. Arden has never seen Vyrneth until now, but he admits that it is intimidating to see with his own eyes. However, his resolve is like steel. The size of the monster does not matter. He looks at his locket with a picture of Queen Lirien before her passing. This is where he will claim victory and get revenge for killing his beloved wife. Vyrneth lets out another screech, this time it has signaled the demon army to begin their attack. Jumping out from the trees, the demons with their large wings swoop in on the Vaelorian soldiers killing them swiftly with their own blades and magic. They're also chasing the civilians some of which using weak magic to repel the demons away without any luck. King Arden is holding his own, but it is not enough. His soldiers are being mowed down and numbers dropping quickly. We even see some demons using magic to capture souls of the dead with bottles and crystals. Their fates worse than death. Another soldier runs away with despair only for him to be tackled and soul captured inside a mana crystal. His scream going silent and his body now cold and limp. Vyrneth has took a backseat allowing the demon army to attack, but it is the snakes time to shine and flatten the town. Vyrneth dives into the center of the town. Its body flattening shops and homes. He aims and spits an acidic venom on the townsfolk who were unable to get away. Their bodies melt away upon contact. However, Vyrneth is interrupted as King Arden punctures his sword into its stomach. The snake felt it, but didn't do any damage. It slams and slides its tail trying to swat Arden away. Ken, Emi, and Sylvara arrive seeing the townsfolk and soldiers are not able to get away nor fight off the demons. They jump in lending a hand using their magic to repel the demons away and allow the people to get away to safety. As they get inside Skarengard, there is more and more demons trying to overwhelm them. Sylvara notices an explosion. It's is King Arden being knocked back by Vyrneth. She freezes seeing her father fight with every amount of strength he has in his body. Arden turns to see Sylvara standing in an alley. He calls for her to get away to safety, but Vyrneth interrupts spitting acid at him. In its frustration, the snake slams Arden with its tail knocking him out unconscious. Sylvara runs to him trying to carry him to safety, but it is no use with his armor attached. She sees Vyrneth hovering over both of them. Sylvara shouts with anger to the beast that it will not take her family away from her again. All of a sudden, everything stopped and went silent. A blue glow beams towards and strikes at Vyrneth. Emi and Ken watched a blue beam land a blow to the giant snake. Arden, in Sylvara's arms, wakes up just in time to watch Godzilla arrive to the scene. Every step he takes causes the ground to quake beneath their feet. Sylvara falls to her knees in shock claiming he heard her prayer. While everyone cheers for his arrival clearing the land swiftly of the demons, Arden is not amused at all. Even more so when he overhears a civilian thanking Godzilla for saving them, as well. The only thing Arden feels is hatred thinking Godzilla will not take this moment away from him. Vyrneth rises back up to see the source of the beam of light that hit it. The snake is not happy and goes into an S-shaped position and hissing to threaten Godzilla. Godzilla's roar, however, causes the snake to slither back. Godzilla charges in and the same goes for Vyrneth. The titans have begun to clash starting with Godzilla slamming the snake to a nearby hill to drive the fight away from the town. Emi gives chase to some demons that are running away from Godzilla's sheer presence. They retreat into the woods hiding in the trees with the soul gems. However, they hear a brief growl coming from the darkness, but the darkness is getting brighter. A blue and green aura light the forest emanating from a large bear-like monster with large tusks protruding from his lower jaw. With his large paw he takes one swipe at the demons killing them on the spot. Emi searches for the demons she lost track of, but nowhere to be found. The bear monster approaches Emi with the soul crystals in his mouth. He gently nudges Emi to make his presence known. She turns to find Lunthar standing in front of her. She looks into his blue eyes recognizing him from that day he saved her. He lays the crystals down in front of her and disappears. Godzilla, taking a battle-ready stance, waits for Vyrneth to make the next move. Vyrneth lunges at Godzilla and Godzilla dodges followed by him grabbing the snake. Vyrneth wriggles to break free giving Godzilla a hard time holding his grasp. Vyrneth wraps its body around Godzilla and begins to constrict him. Godzilla lets go from Vyrneth's constriction unable to move and the snake bites Godzilla on the neck with his venomous fangs. During the fight, King Arden's men came to assist him and Sylvara. Arden orders to ready his mages for when the time comes they're going to use a magic binding spell to chain Godzilla. Sylvara is disgusted by her father slapping him in the face. She yells at him saying Vyrneth is the one that is connected to the Demon King, not Godzilla. Godzilla is fighting for them and always has and calls him out for being so blinded by his loss of Queen Lirien asking what his wife would really think of him. Having heard enough, Arden orders the guards to take her back to the Grand Spire and lock her away in her quarters. Ken and Emi see Sylvara being taken away by guards by force. They rush to find out the meaning behind this only to be captured by soldiers and being handcuffed. Arden orders to have the adventurers arrested for treason by conspiring with the Demon King and they are to be held in the dungeon under Grand Spire awaiting trial. Ken yells at King Arden saying he understands what he is going through. His country went through the same thing with Godzilla many years ago. When Godzilla first appeared, his country did everything they could to stop Godzilla only to met with harsh consequences. So many soldiers killed and many families destroyed because his country kept provoking him seeing him as an evil force that needed to be destroyed. He understands losing someone he once loved because of Godzilla and how he regretted saving her every day until he met Emi. King Arden, interrupting Ken, tells his guards to take them away and turns back to watch the fight's conclusion. Godzilla, his mouth covered in blood by the venom's acidic effects, grabs Vyrneth's neck squeezing tightly until Vyrneth has let his bite go from lack of oxygen. Godzilla grabs the upper and lower jaws of the snake forcing it open until the lower jaw breaks and then torn off right after. He tosses the snake off of him and kills Vyrneth with his atomic breath destroying a hill in the process. Godzilla, feeling the effects of the venom, lets out a weak roar as he falls in the middle of Skarengard. King Arden calls for the mages to move in. With their magic, Godzilla is chained by arms, legs, tail, neck, and a muzzle to prevent Godzilla from using his atomic breath. King Arden gets closer to Godzilla's face giving him an angry, fiery glare into Godzilla's eyes. Arden wants Godzilla to see his anger and the pain he had been carrying. The loss of Queen Lirien by Vyrneth and all of the soldiers Godzilla has killed under the demonic influence. He whispers to Godzilla justice will finally be theirs. At the Demon King's castle, he watches the events in Skarengard unfold. He is upset by Vyrneth's death, but was pleased by the chaos it had brought to Vaeloria including the fall of Ash Veil Hollow, its influence poisoning Vaeloria's mana fonts, killing Queen Lirien to corrupt King Arden, and now Godzilla taken out of the fight makes his final push to conquering Vaeloria easier. He is well pleased that Vaeloria's fall may come soon. There is just one more task that needs to be taken care of before he conquers Vaeloria. With the soul gems collected by the recent raid, he sadistically smiles as he hears the cries and screams of the souls like music to his ears. He brings them and feeds the soul gems to a familiar three headed dragon whose eyes glow red. The Demon King, looking at his prize monster, claims it is his time to shine.

  1. "To Be or Not To Be?"

In the quarters of Arden's adopted daughter, a beautifully dressed Sylvara sits on the edge of her bed upset with King Arden for locking her away in her room. She remembers back when she was first living with him. In her memory, a less rugged and much younger King Arden tries to play and dot on Sylvara. His attempts to pamper her were futile as child Sylvara was unresponsive by her traumatic experience. Arden is worried about her not knowing what to do in this situation. His captain and trusted friend, a Dwarf that went by Brok, suggested trying to take her back to Ash Veil Hollow as she did lose her family. Arden peaks through Sylvara's room asleep seeing tears rolling down her cheek and decides to bring her home. The next day, they arrive to Ash Veil Hollow completely destroyed by Vyrneth's rampage. Child Sylvara looks around and she races to the spot where she lost her parents. She stands and freezes as she cries revealing this is where she lost her parents. Calling her Mr. Arden, she asks him why her parents had to die and in a fit cries demanding why. Arden kneels down to her and holds her tightly. He knows she is hurting just as he is. Both of them having lost someone by Vyrneth, he promised her that he will bring justice, no matter what. Coming back to the present, Sylvara murmurs to herself saying he doomed them. Arden, peeking into her room, finds Sylvara in a sad state. He remembers his promise to bring justice and that is exactly what he is doing. At least, that is what he thought. Outside the Grand Spire, angry voices from the people protesting the king for chaining Godzilla, their protector, and for wasting so many soldiers for a failed assault on Godzilla and failing to protect Skarengard. They demand who is going to protect them from the Demon King and his army. The Dwarf captain, Brok, walks beside King Arden in the halls asking if chaining Godzilla was really the right move. Arden responds that this is for the best for both he and Sylvara. He promised her justice and Godzilla took that chance away from him. Brok rebuttals questioning about his justice and points out to everyone losing someone they cared about. Family, friends, and loved ones, where was their justice? Brok reminds Arden this war has been going on way before he was even born and every generation has been praying to the gods for a divine intervention. Where was their justice? Brok and Arden look out the window seeing the crowd in an uproar. Brok ends the conversation saying that he does not know much about this Godzilla other than the stories that were passed around and him witnessing Godzilla's honorable truce to Rog, the Iron Monarch. However, he can see in the people's frustration that Godzilla was the answer to their prayers from the gods. This beast is their shield and if Arden does not make things right then there will be larger problems than Vyrneth. With that, Brok takes his leave dismissing himself as he heads to Ironcrag. That night, Arden is in his chambers staring at his pendant which holds a picture of Queen Lirien. That slap from Sylvara and her screaming at him asking what his wife would think of him keeps replaying in his head. Feeling alone and isolated, he sheds a tear asking Lirien, as if she is sitting next to him, if what he is doing is the right thing or this is really driven by his own selfish desires. The night is late and streets are dead. King Arden sneaks out of his chambers of Grand Spire wearing a cloak to hide himself and heads to Skarengard where Godzilla is chained. He walks up to Godzilla's face and stares into his blue glowing eyes. He can see Godzilla is tired and the scars on his body tells a story of his many battles. Arden stares at Godzilla long and hard as if wanting to say something to him. Yet, he could not bring himself to say what was on his mind. He wanted to blame Godzilla for all of Vaeloria's problems, for taking away his promise to Sylvara to kill Vyrneth, and for not being here earlier to save Queen Lirien. He then thinks back to when Dr. Ken Yamane and what he said during the Vyrneth fight. He mentioned his country tried to kill Godzilla too and experienced harsh consequences. What country is he talking about and what did they do to Godzilla? Where did Godzilla even come from? So many questions run through his mind. He needed to talk to him urgently. Sylvara roams the halls late at night unable to sleep. She looks outside to find Arden sneaking out. For her own curiosity, she decides to follow him using her illusion magic to veil her presence. She follows her father to Skarengard where Godzilla is chained. Arden walks closer to the monster gently touching the beast. Godzilla lets out a low grumble as if his touch soothed him. Sylvara asks herself if they are having a heart to heart as she watches. Tears rolling down his eyes not saying a word. The cool night's breeze shifts to a sudden gust begins to pick up. A large, indistinguishable silhouette passes over them with Godzilla trying and being unable to break free from his chains. A stream of golden yellow beams like lightning strike around Godzilla as if teasing him. Sylvara watches the object flying in the direction towards Ironcrag. It is a quiet night and Rog, the Iron Monarch, watches the starry sky. He has always had a fascination with the stars wondering if more of his kind could be out there. He was born alone and has lived alone. The dwarves, however, have sent him food and gifts. Their kindness made him want to protect this village of Ironcrag. In the distance, a black shadow passes by moon-lit sky. A cloud perhaps? No, the object is speeding up as it get closer towards the village. Rog stands up to see what this is. Suddenly, beams of light, like lightning, strikes the village setting it on fire. Rog roars in defiant of the object angry for attacking his village. Rog grabs a tree and chucks it at the object. It made a direct hit and the object falls from the sky. Rog races down the mountain heading towards where the object fell to get ready for a fight. The monster rises raising all three heads facing towards Rog with their red, glowing eyes. Rog is getting more and more intimidated as the monster stands seeing its tremendous height. The dragon-like creature hisses as it spreads the enormous wings showing off his radiant gold scales shimmering from the fire. Rog roars and charges towards the monster only to be knocked back by one of the three heads. The gold demon blasts more of their electric beams at Rog causing him to collide with the mountain. Rog tries to stand, but the demonic dragon stomps on the troll and drags him across the mountain side. The dragon then picks up Rog and flies into the sky and drops the troll right on top of Ironcrag. Before Rog passes out, he lays on his back paralyzed watching the the three headed dragon destroy Ironcrag. Captain Brok rushes in with his warhammer and slamming it against the monster's leg hardly doing any damage. A scale chips off the monster just before it flies off into the night sky. On his way to Ironcrag, Arden chases the anomaly on his horse. It's fast and pulling far away from him. The anomaly is over Ironcrag and fires more of the beams from the sky. From the mountain, he sees a tree flying towards the object and making a direct hit. A fight was about to break out. King Arden watches from afar the battle that was about to unfold. This must be Rog, the Iron Monarch, he has heard about and Arden, recognizing his role as protector of Ironcrag, cheers him on. However, Rog is losing and Arden watches as the dragon picks up Rog and dropping him from the sky sending tears down his eyes in shock. The next morning, King Arden surveys the destruction of Ironcrag. Homes and what was once streets with markets and shops now reduced to rubble. The smoke from burned out fires makes the air thick and heavy to breathe. Survivors crying over their dead loved ones. As they see Arden, they only look away from him with shame. He tries to assist with the relief efforts of searching for survivors that may be trapped underneath the rubble. Furthermore, Ironcrag's protector is winded and unable to move after his encounter. This could have been stopped. He could have let Godzilla go and prevented another catastrophe, but he didn't. He couldn't admit he was in the wrong until now, but before he can admit he was wrong he needed more answers. Captain Brok reports to King Arden that he, his men, and the village were not prepared for this fight and apologizes to him. Arden shakes his head telling Brok there was no need to apologize. Brok shows him the gold scale from the three headed dragon. Arden asks Captain Brok to accompany him and heads back to Grand Spire. Sylvara has been following King Arden trying to figure out what he is doing. She has watched King Arden broken from seeing Rog's defeat and Ironcrag's destruction and assisted with the relief efforts without her father knowing she was close by. She sneaks to listen in on King Arden's and Captain Brok's conversation and notices the gold scale. Both Arden and Brok rushing back to Auralith. As she trails behind Arden, all she can worry about is what Arden could be planning. In the dungeon underneath Grand Spire, Ken and Emi sit in their cells quietly. They conversed about whether they should take the chance to break out, but Ken insisted that they remain patient and wait until a moment arrives. Emi also talks to Ken about her most recent encounter with Lunthar, the Forest Monarch. She shares the soul gems that were given to her explaining the crystals harness souls of the dead. Once trapped, there is no way to release them and their soul disappears from existence after being used. Emi doesn't know why Lunthar would give them to her if there is no way to free them. Ken suggests that maybe there is a way that nobody knows about yet and he gave them to her for safe keeping until that day comes. They hear the dungeon chamber doors opening and slamming shut. King Arden accompanied with Captain Brok comes to their cell and pulls a chair to sit with them. Brok recognizes them from that one time in Ironcrag when Godzilla and Rog fought now knowing there is definitely something more to them. Arden starts off by demanding Ken to tell him everything he knows about Godzilla. He wants to know Ken's place of origin, where Godzilla came from, and what he meant by his country having tried to kill Godzilla before. Ken turns to Emi confused by King Arden's sudden interest to talk about Godzilla, but doesn't make fun. He remembers Sylvara detailing that he always takes action first and ask questions later. Now, they are at the "later" part. Ken tells him everything from originating from a country called Japan, which is in a whole other world, followed with Godzilla's origin. That Godzilla was born from the fires of a powerful weapon that humans in his world built and tested. Godzilla retaliated harshly on them and turned a whole city into a sea of fire. It took years and many monsters later for Godzilla and the human race turn from enemies to allies, but between those times mankind tried over and over to kill him only to be met with harsh consequences. Lastly, he explained that he and Godzilla arrived to this world through a portal that ripped open and sucked them in during a battle with a fierce foe. Arden, not seemingly pleased to not have his bias confirmed, he takes in all of the information that he can muster. He follows up with one more question for Dr. Ken Yamane. Captain Brok pulls out a gold scale and hands it to Arden. Arden asks Ken if he recognizes this. Ken's eyes widen in horror having an idea full well who that belongs to. Ken replies asking where Arden found the scale.

  1. "Regal Unchained"

Ken Yamane is given the gold scale to hold for a closer look. The gold, metallic, reflective sheen is exactly what he suspected. Arden, Brok, and Emi are waiting for an answer, but they can see terror in his face. They know right away this dragon is not going to be good news, at all. Ken is hesitant to say his name, but stutters the name "Ghidorah, the false king." Arden, getting impatient, wants to know more about Ghidorah and how they can beat it. Ken shakes his head confirming he can't. Not even the strongest of mages can stop this monster. He describes Ghidorah as an invader from beyond the stars. An alien that breaks all logic. The only way to defeat it is by another monster of greater strength than Ghidorah. He turns to Arden warning him without Godzilla, the kingdom of Vaeloria will fall. Sylvara listens in on the conversation hiding behind the door leading into the dungeon. She finally knows where Ken and Emi are held and may have to release them when the opportunity arises. She learns of Ken Yamane's and Godzilla's origins coming from another world and Godzilla's dark past evolve into becoming Earth's protector. However, she could not hear the reveal of the owner of the gold scale. Arden nods understanding now what he is up against and he takes his leave apologizing for how he has treated them and is ashamed of his behavior. Arden has told them for their safety they are to remain in their cells, but will make sure they are better taken cared for to make up for it. Sylvara uses her illusion magic to veil herself waiting for her father and Captain Brok to pass without suspicion. She is confused by Arden's sudden change and wonders if it has to do with the dragon that destroyed Ironcrag. Arden stops and calls for Sylvara to come out of hiding. He knew she was following him for a while. Sylvara unveils herself and confronts her father asking why the sudden interest in Godzilla. He went from wanting Godzilla chained up and not listening to a single word those two had to say to now being interested. Arden asks her to walk with him detailing the situation. Arden asks how long she has been following him. Since Sylvara has already seen what happened to Ironcrag, Arden keeps it brief. After everything that has happened and the destruction of Ironcrag Godzilla needs to be released. Yet, he needs an alternate energy source to sustain him. Gdozilla's need to consume a specific kind of energy is complex and is rounding up more mages to find this alternative. In the war room, Arden invites Sylvara to listen in on the plan. He, along with Captain Brok, are giving the rundown on the dragon revealing to everyone the name Ghidorah and detailing what it is capable of. This monster is not anything they've ever faced before and based on their recent attacks on Godzilla and Vyrneth, the number of soldiers are low. To face Ghidorah with those numbers would be more than futile. Their next plan of action is to set Godzilla free, but before they do Arden explains Godzilla's need for energy. Godzilla has relied on an unknown energy source and has been turning towards mana as a quick alternative. However, it is not enough. The first order of business is to have the mages seek either a new energy alternative or a way for Godzilla to adapt to mana. Once that is done, Godzilla will be released and fight Ghidorah. Meanwhile, Auralith will need to be evacuated immediately to minimize casualties. There can't be any room for error and time is not on their side. With that, he dismisses everyone. Sylvara retorts asking if Arden is on Godzilla's side now. Arden, now as a father, apologizes to Sylvara. He was wrong with how he was short with her and her friends. He let his personal vendetta get in the way and tried justifying it as him keeping his promise, which he made so long ago. She and her friends warned Arden and he didn't listen and it cost him greatly. Now, he is listening. Arden wants to right the wrongs he made and now asking Sylvara to put her trust in him again. Sylvara does not fully trust her father, just yet. After his betrayal, asking her to trust him again feels wrong. Yet, if he is fully committed to this plan she demands Arden to let her friends in the dungeon go as she is going to need as much help as she can. And if there is anybody that knows Godzilla than anyone else, then it would be Dr. Ken Yamane and Emi Willowshade. King Arden agrees to her demands and allows her to go free her friends. In the dungeon of Grand Spire, Ken and Emi are playing a game of tic-tac-toe on the ground to pass the time. A prisoner who resides in the cell across from them keeps shouting about conspiracies to get their attention. Conspiracies such as a kingdom beneath Vaeloria and how they worship bug monster like a god and they're so advanced they created their own sun. Ken, a little annoyed by the prisoner, asks politely to quiet down. The prisoner talks louder, this time mocking Ken's story about an alternate universe and Ghidorah being a space monster. This prompted Emi to throw rocks at the prisoner across from them quieting him down. The dungeon chamber door opens and a visitor approaches. It's Sylvara holding the keys to their cell. She is happy to Ken and Emi again and asks if they were well. Ken assures her that he and Emi are doing fine and that King Arden has been very kind to send them decent food rather than the regular jail slop. Emi nods and tells Sylvara to make sure she tells King Arden for taking care of them. Sylvara is glad to hear that her father is treating them well, as promised. With the keys in hand, she tells Emi that she can thank her father herself as she and Ken are being released into her custody. On the way out of the dungeon, they get into a serious conversation about her father's plan to release Godzilla and have him fight Ghidorah, but he has sent his mages to look for an alternate source of energy or a way for Godzilla to adapt to consuming mana. Ken responds that Arden must be taking Ghidorah as a serious problem, then. Sylvara pointed out that he was the one that persuaded him of the shortcomings that are brewing. She goes on to explain that her father wants to right the wrongs he committed. However, the numbers of soldiers are too low to fight a monster like Ghidorah. This makes Sylvara believe that Arden's true intentions for letting Godzilla go is because he feels backed into a corner and has no other choice. Before they exit, Ken stops her. He and Emi know about what he did back in Skarengard. She may see it as an act of betrayal, but if that were his daughter on the battlefield with him he would probably do the same thing. He would do everything he could to save her. To end the conversation telling Sylvara to find in her heart to forgive her father, even if it was harsh. Sylvara is sour towards Ken's advice, but this is no time to get personal. She takes it as him meaning well and overstepping his boundaries. They walk out of the dungeon finding themselves outside of Grand Spire and in the city of Auralith. They begin to walk weaving through the city's streets towards the city's gate discussing the plan once they exit the city. A dog with a squeaky toy walks beside them looking for someone to play with. Emi mentions searching for Lunthar starting with Lunerith Glade. If she could find the Forest Monarch again then maybe she can try convincing him with helping Godzilla. Ken will travel with Emi to search for Lunthar intrigued in seeing the monster for himself. Perhaps there could be hints to how this world's mana connects deeper with the monsters. Sylvara plans to head back to the Grand Spire to look for a defensive plan to stop Ghidorah. Before they break ways, Emi hands Sylvara the soul gems Lunthar gave her and asks if she can look into a way to release the souls these crystals. Sylvara is doubtful, but promises she will hand them to her father's grand mages to look for a possible release for the soul gems. They arrive to the gate they see the dog squeaking his toy to get their attention. Sylvara falls in love with him and gives him some head pats and belly rubs before sending him on his way. After saying their goodbyes to Sylvara, Emi and Ken head for Lunerith Glade. It took two days to get to the mystical forest and they began their search immediately after arriving. They began searching at the spot where Emi first encountered Lunthar. Observing the runes carved in the trees, Emi tells her story about her mother's persecution. She was in love with a human and in elven culture, race mixing is considered a taboo and frowned upon. Lunthar was there to save Emi, but couldn't save her mother, in time. Emi has always felt alone and traveled alone until she met Ken that day. She turns to Ken with a smile telling him that he and Lunthar are kind of similar. Both of them always being there by her side and having saved her from danger when she needed them most. Ken blushes and tells her that he is no Monarch, but will always be by her side. Ken touches the runes feeling the mana flow in the trees. It has a pulse like a heart beat. As they follow the runes the pulsing beat gets stronger. Emi is not sure what the runes say, but they're ancient. She has read about runes before and how scholars speculate there was once a civilization long ago. Ken asks if it may have something to do with Lunthar and Emi speculates that if it does then they should follow the runes to see where they lead. Back at Auralith, Sylvara browses the halls of Grand Spire's archives looking for defensive spells and defense tactics used in past invasions only to come up dry. She comes across an archived scroll placed under confidential. The parchment looks recent meaning it must be newly archived. The librarian tells Sylvara that she needs official clearance to see the scroll. She flashes her pendant showing the official family crest of Vaelor and the librarion gives her clearance. She opens the scroll and reads about a spell called "Oppenheimer," a spell that requires high ranking mages specializing in specific elemental magic to cast the spell. The effect is an explosion that rips open the sky and blanketed by a mushroom shaped cloud. It was only used once on the Demon King's castle without any impact other than black rain pouring down from the cloud. It is noted to only be used as a last resort. Getting tired, Sylvara pushes the scroll away and rubs her eyes. She sees the soul gems and remembered that she needs to bring them to her father's grand mages to be dispelled. She grabs the scroll and puts it in her bag to look at later. She roams the corridors up and down for an hour looking for one of the four grand mages. She finally finds one of them whose name is Bjorn. He was sitting in the Grand Spire garden taking a break himself. Sylvara apologizes for interrupting his down time to have a look at the soul gems. She shows him the soul gems and quickly refuses to deal with them not because he didn't want to, but it requires a priest with holy magic to dispel demon magic. However, the problem is that soul gems are speculated to require advanced demon magic as nobody seems to know how to dispel it yet. One of the guards roaming the garden overhears their conversation and interrupts asking if Sylvara is looking for a priest. She replies that is what she was told by Bjorn and he tells her about the only priest in Auralith that was arrested months ago for disturbing the peace. He would spread rumors about an advanced civilization underneath Vaeloria. It freaked people out and they had to put him in time out. A request for a new priest was sent to the church some time ago, but they have not responded yet. If Sylvara is really in need of a priest then she should head down to the dungeon. His name is Father Martin Sylvara heads to the dungeon where the priest is locked away. She meets with him introducing herself. The priest grumbles asking what she wants from him. Sylvara shows him the soul gems asking if he knew how to dispel the soul gems. The priest laughs at her saying he would need his holy bible to research something like that. As for now, he does not have access to his book and doubts that he even will as no priest has been able to dispel advanced demon magic. She asks if she can bring him his book if he can research how to dispel the soul gems. To entice the deal, Sylvara promises to grant her an audience with King Arden to hear him about the underground city he keeps talking about. In the distance, a large storm with lightning booming striking more villages. Time is up and Ghidorah is on his way. King Arden turns to Captain Brok and Bjorn. The mages report they may have found a mana channeling spell that could help Godzilla, but it has never been tried before. King Arden nods and says he is willing to try anything as long as it saves Vaeloria. They exit out of the Grand Spire guards surrounding Arden, Brok, and Bjorn for safety from the protestors. The guards escorts Arden to Skarengard where Godzilla is chained. Walking to Godzilla from his castle felt like it was lasting forever just having to listen to the angry cries of the protestors. They arrive, Godzilla still chained and in a much more weak state than the last time Arden seen him. He walks up to Godzilla touching him one last time saying he is sorry for being a burden and he hopes for Godzilla to save his people one more time. Arden orders the mage to start unchaining Godzilla. The chains disappear into thin air and the cries of the protestors turn to silence. Arden nods to his mage telling them to go ahead with the spell that could potentially heal Godzilla. As they're doing that, King Arden turns towards the public and begins with an apology. He let everyone down and let his pride and vendetta get in the way of seeing what is really at stake. He has heard their protests and saw what happened without Godzilla being there to protect them. Now, a new threat is heading there way and to evacuate Auralith immediately.

  1. "Kingdom Come"

Dr. Ken Yamane and Emi Willowshade are in Lunerith Glade searching for the mysterious Lunthar, the Forest Monarch. They discovered some runes that is pulsing with mana etched in the bark of the trees. They act as a trail with each pulse feeling stronger as if getting closer to something. The trail leads them to a cave. Upon entering torches lit with mana leads them to a large room lined with cave drawings and an altar sitting in the middle of the cave. Ken gets a sense of familiarity from his world. In this world, a bear is in place being worshipped by ancient magi. Ken points to the cave painting showing Emi if this could be Lunthar, which she nods saying that is the monster that saved her. They look deeper into the cave drawings and notices there is another monster with Lunthar. It looks like a moth was once worshipped by the ancients. In a war of the monsters, she transferred her power to Lunthar to save Vaeloria and ending the war. Emi and Ken turn to each other wondering if this could be a clue to save Godzilla. Back at Auralith, people scatter in a panic trying to evacuate as the storm of Ghidorah looms over them. In the church of Saint Maria, Sylvara and Father Martin are looking the church's archives looking for his holy bible. Sylvara peaks outside seeing the ominous storm approaching the city. She tells the priest to hurry up and look for that book. Martin shouts if she is worried then she should go without him as he is not leaving without his book. Sylvara reminds Martin he is under her custody. If anything happens to him then she will be held liable and can't leave Martin behind. He grumbles that she should stop blabbering and help him. Without the book he can't help dispel the soul gems and if he can't dispel the soul gems then he can't get an audience with King Arden. Thunder claps the skies as winds and lightning clash Auralith's glowing barrier ricocheting back to Ghidorah's three heads. The barrier can give Sylvara and Father Martin some more time, but it is not going to last. They go through every book through the church's library. There are bibles and grimoires for different uses. However, none of them are his book. Sylvara reads some of the books asking if any of the blessings can be used to dispel the soul gems. Father Martin scoffs denying any of them would be of any help and tells her to keep digging. In the cavern, Ken and Emi are trying to decipher the cave drawings and the altar. In one of the drawings, there are two priestesses giving their mana to summon Lunthar at the altar. Emi points it out to Ken that the summoning must consist of offering mana at the altar and asks Ken if they should try it. Ken doesn't see any other way and agrees to try it. Both Ken and Emi go up and lay their hands on the altar closing their eyes to focus on their mana. The cavern goes dark and is lit up with a blue and green glow. They open their eyes to find Lunthar appearing in front of them. Emi's heart is pounding. She has been waiting to meet Lunthar for a long time and Ken suggests she be the one to talk to him. Emi nervously says hello and how she is grateful for getting to meet him. She follows it up by thanking Lunthar for saving her long ago and she may not be around if it was not for him. She continues, her voice steady, saying that now she comes asking for his help detailing about a fearsome three headed dragon that is attacking Vaeloria and Godzilla needs his help. Lunthar turns towards Ken staring into his eyes. He can see into the doctor's past. Starting with his childhood and finding his grandfather's notebook, which sparked Ken's obsession. He can see Godzilla's past, as well. How Godzilla started off angry with humanity for their misdeeds to being plunged into the role as his world's protector. Godzilla has fought many monsters as well as beings from outside his world trying to invade and falling to Godzilla's might. Lunthar turns to the cave drawing depicting a moth give its essence to Lunthar as a way to tell them this is the only way to save Godzilla. Emi takes a moment to realize he is about to sacrifice and begins to cry. She shouts not to do it and there must be some other way. She cries asking why it has to be this way and not to leave her. Lunthar leans in closer to Emi's ear and whispers she will always be with her, in spirit. Emi's eyes widen murmuring that was her mother's voice. Finally, Lunthar tells Ken to take care of Emi and Ken quietly nods. Lunthar follows it up with a warning about Godzilla not being a true guardian like he and Rog and to be careful to not toy with the powers that are about to be given to him. Lunthar disappears. Next thing they know, Emi and Ken are at Skarengard. They look around seeing the sky being torn apart by Ghidorah's storm. They have a moment pondering how they got here last remembering they were in a cavern. Back in Skarengard, Arden is overseeing the mage's process of the mana channeling spell. Captain Brok reports back to Arden reporting the evacuation is not complete and warns of the magical barrier's collapse. King Arden, feeling the pressure, orders Brok to continue assisting with the evacuation and asks the mage how much more time he needs to finish the spell. Bjorn replies he needed more time than this as Godzilla is not taking the mana. Brok points towards to Auralith showing Arden the situation. Ghidorah cackles as it presses all of his weight on to the glowing barrier stressing it to the point of cracking. King Arden, despair in his eyes, says they're not going to make it. The whole forest of Lunerith Glade begins to glow with a mystical aura. Lunthar, now as big as Godzilla, leaps out of the forest and strikes Ghidorah with his massive paw. Ghidorah falls to the ground writhing in pain. A large, jagged scar is now marked on Ghidorah's chest. Lunthar charges in and pouncing on Ghidorah, biting into the middle neck. The left and right head fires their gold beams pushing Lunthar back. Ghidorah slithers back up turns towards Lunthar firing a torrent of golden beams. Sylvara takes a glance outside Saint Maria's window seeing a large, white bear-like monster glowing with a blue and green aura fighting Ghidorah. Sylvara assumes this must be Lunthar and smiles at the thought of Ken and Emi having succeeded their mission. They finally have a chance. From the pressure of Ghidorah's storm, the roof of the church splinters under the strain ready to collapse. Father Martin calls Sylvara back to search for his book, but there is no time left. Sylvara grabs the senile priest telling him it is time to go. Father Martin pulls his arm away from her insisting he is not leaving without his book. Sylvara, grown impatient with Martin, decides to take measures into her own hands. Using a spell, she puts Father Martin to sleep apologizing to him for not finding the book. Sylvara carries Father Martin over her shoulder making a run for the exit towards Skarengard. Lunthar and Ghidorah collide, heads smashing. Using all three heads, Ghidorah has tried to lift Lunthar off the ground and failed due to Lunthar's weight. Clamping down on the dragon, Lunthar slams Ghidorah to a nearby hill. The bear tears off scales and flesh with glowing claws. Ghidorah strikes with an electric surge that forces Lunthar back. Ghidorah fires another torrent of gold bolts to the ground breaking chunks of rock. The anti-gravity effect of the beams lift the rocks off the ground and are hurled at Lunthar. He dodges some, but not all. Lunthar sees this as a cheap and cowardly trick. If Ghidorah is so powerful, then why is the dragon keeping him away? Lunthar powers through the rocks being flung at him and is met with a storm of gold bolts of lightning raining down from the sky. Ghidorah had set a trap. Emi and Ken stumble into Skarengard finding King Arden with the four grand mages feeding Godzilla mana, which Godzilla's body is rejecting for being incompatible. King Arden orders the mages to stop and it was over. They meet up with Arden asking how he is doing on his end. He shakes his head saying it was no use. Since Godzilla is a product from another world his body is fine tuned to consume a very specific kind of energy. Sylvara, carrying Father Martin, joins the group. Sylvara is glad to see Ken and Emi are safe and were able to find Lunthar seeing he is able to fight Ghidorah. Ken nods saying they were both successful, yet saddened that it came at a price of Lunthar's sacrifice to save Godzilla. Sylvara turns toward her father and notices Godzilla is no longer chained and his mages have been trying to give him mana. Sylvara wanted to say something. She wanted to say she is sorry too and understands now that he was just doing what any father would do. However, Father Martin wakes up demanding to be let down and starts blaming Sylvara for carrying him out of the church failing to find his book. The two of them bicker with Sylvara arguing they had to leave the church or they would have been crushed and Martin arguing she should have left him there. Pulling at her own hair, Sylvara muttered wishing she did leave him there. Emi, ignoring their squabbles, turns towards Lunthar's fight to watch the climax. Lunthar is struck by a barrage of lightning bolts and electric surges. Ghidorah has backed the Forest Monarch into a corner weakening him. He is close to the edge of Skarengard. He turns to see a pale, sickly looking Godzilla laying on the ground. He also notices Emi and Ken are watching along with the rest of the group who is with them. Emi is in tears knowing what is going to happen next. She begs him again not to do this. Ken holds her back after she tries running after Lunthar. Ken is holding her tightly close to his chest forcing her not to watch. Ken nods to Lunthar acknowledging what needs to be done. Lunthar, turning back to Ghidorah, stands on his hind legs and roaring defiantly at the dragon. Ghidorah slams Lunthar to the ground and with all three heads bites the Forest Monarch. Using his anti-gravity beams, Ghidorah lifts Lunthar into the air. Lunthar is thrown into Auralith's barrier destroying it completely and the Forest Monarch explodes into pure energy. As predicted, Lunthar gave Godzilla his essence to live. The gang watch in horror as Lunthar was killed by the demonic beast that stands before them. Ken watches as Lunthar's essence was absorbed by Godzilla and says it is done. Ghidorah leaves Skarengard heading back to Auralith to continue his attack. The capitol city is exposed enough for Ghidorah to conquer. Emi still has her eyes shut crying in tears. Suddenly, a low rumble can be felt creeping up their backs. It wasn't coming from the storm nor Ghidorah. It was behind them. The gang turn towards Godzilla, his dorsals pulsing with a radiant blue and green glow. Godzilla lets out a loud puff of hot air. Ken turns Emi around to let her look. Godzilla is recovering. Eyes opening wide open now with a sharp green glow. The plan had worked. The bells have rung since the previous day calling for everyone to evacuate. Ghidorah descends down toward the city causing winds as strong as the strongest hurricane blowing rooftops. The rope tied to the bell snaps from the wind's force and the bell crashes inside the church of Saint Maria. All three heads begin their attack with their golden bolts. With each blast, large chunks of rubble float into the air defying this world's gravity and are tossed towards Grand Spire. With a flap of the large wings, it leaps onto the castle coiling like a snake. The false king screams into the air, bolts of lightning flashing from the tips of its wings and raining back down onto the capital city. The few people left in the city who couldn't escape take refuge in the Grand Spire's dungeon crying and praying for someone to save them. Suddenly, the crashing thunder goes silent. A blue and green aura shines in the distance outside of Auralith followed by a deep, booming roar. Ghidorah hisses and snarls as a blue beam with a green spiral blasts the three headed dragon off of Grand Spire. Godzilla is back on his feet now fully adapted to mana energy and is marching towards his arch nemesis for another battle.

  1. "Clash of the Titans"

Concept art from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters"
Concept art from Godzilla: King of the Monsters to represent Godzilla's clash with King Ghidorah in Auralith

Over the city of Auralith, an ominous and powerful storm crashes the city with its bolts of lightning setting the city ablaze. An aura of a blue and green light marches towards the three headed menace. As Godzilla comes charging, Ghidorah fires his anti-gravity beams hoping to slow him down. However, the king of the monsters is unyielding. While each strike stung him, Godzilla powers through only making him angrier. Before Godzilla got too close Ghidorah takes off to get some distance from the lizard. Yet, Ghidorah felt a tug from below. Godzilla has grabbed both of the dragon's twin tails. Using his raw strength, Godzilla slams Ghidorah back down not allowing him to get away. Ken, Emi, Sylvara, King Arden, Captain Brok, Father Martin, and the four mages watch the fight from the outskirts of Auralith. Everyone are in awe by Godzilla's new found strength and cheers him on for every blow he makes to Ghidorah. Emi is still sad about Lunthar's sacrifice feeling distant, but the blue and green aura pulsing out of Godzilla makes her think Lunthar is still there fighting alongside him. This gives her some comfort as she watches the fight. As Godzilla tries to get closer, Ghidorah's three heads snaps at him trying to keep him away. Godzilla stomps on Ghidorah's chest to pin him down, but Ghidorah retaliates with his anti-gravity beams. Godzilla is pushed back giving Ghidorah enough distance to get back up. Godzilla and Ghidorah charge up and fire their beams causing a clashing stand-off. Both sides are making a big push. One of the heads breaks away from the beam fight struggle losing footing on the push. However, the left head does a sneak attack using its beam on a large piece of rubble near by to lift it and throw it at Godzilla allowing Ghidorah to push back and forcing Godzilla to lose the beam fight. Godzilla is knocked down from losing the explosive beam fight. As he is getting himself back up Ghidorah glides in stomping him back down. Ghidorah kicks Godzilla around and cackles as if laughing at him. Ghidorah bites down and sends electric shocks into Godzilla. Ghidorah thinks he has gained the upper hand in the fight. Back at Ironcrag, Rog, the Iron Monarch, wakes up to see a bright light and large storm in the distance. He huffs knowing the one who destroyed his village is there. His sadness turning into anger and fury. Rog wants revenge for what the three headed devil has done to him. How he was humiliated and how he destroyed the lives of the villagers. He rolls over and looks around. If he is to fight this monster, he will need a weapon. Rog pulls out a couple of trees and grabs a boulder. He shapes the boulder into a pointed arrow. He carves the trees and ties them together to make one long staff and weaves the sharp head to the staff. With his weapon in hand, Rog roars announcing his rematch and charges to Auralith. Ghidorah hisses and snarls at Godzilla as he tries to stand back up after a beating. Ghidorah, using his twin tails, wraps Godzilla into a bind. All three heads are giving Godzilla a zap as if toying with him. Everyone watching the fight are angered praying for Godzilla to recover the fight. Sylvara looks into her bag, grabbing the scroll wondering if it is time to bring up using that spell as a last resort. Brok shouts to look over to the right of Auralith. They see something else charging into the fight. Brok, with a large, fat smile, shouts, "Go get'em! Avenge our people!" Ghidorah still has Godzilla in a bind choking him. Godzilla charges up, grabs the tail choking his neck, and fires down slicing through Ghidorah's tail and tossing it to the side. Ghidorah screams in pain causing him to unwrap Godzilla from his bind. Godzilla picks himself back up and sees Ghidorah charging up. Just as the dragon was about to fire, Rog jumps in from behind and stabs Ghidorah with his spear. Ghidorah writhes in pain and throws Rog off his back slamming into the market alley. Rog dusts himself back up and stands next to Godzilla. They look at each other, Rog giving a thumbs up signaling him he is ready to fight and Godzilla nods in acknowledgement. Ghidorah snaps the spear in half and fires its gravity beams at Rog and Godzilla in hopes of breaking them apart. Rog jumps out of the way as Godzilla fires his mana breath. The beams clash again and just like last time, the left head goes for a chunk of debris to smash against Godzilla. Rog comes in smashing a rock of his own on Ghidorah. The beam clash explodes and Ghidorah is knocked back colliding with Grand Spire. In the dungeon, the citizens that were not able to evacuate are covering themselves in fear praying they don't get smashed in the process. Rog hears the people in the dungeon crying and screaming for help, but he needs to get Ghidorah away from Grand Spire. Rog signals to Godzilla to keep the dragon busy as he grabs the survivors. Ghidorah is dizzy from being double teamed. Rog grabs all three heads, pulls him off of Grand Spire, spins him around, and letting go sending Ghidorah flying. Now, he is really ticked off at the mountain troll his eyes glowing even more red in anger. Godzilla blasts the dragon with his mana breath to get his attention. Ghidorah wants nothing to do with Godzilla now and starts to target Rog. The mountain troll races to the dungeon and peaks inside with his large, yellow eye. He can see people down there afraid to come near. The troll knows these people can't stay here and with his hand reaches down offering to climb on. The survivors are not sure what to make of this, but one of them climbs on the troll's hand. More survivors climb on until everyone is on board. Gently picking them up, Rog clasps with both hands. Ghidorah fires a beam close to Rog's cheek and the troll makes a run for it. Godzilla holds Ghidorah back trying to pin the dragon down. Rog takes a large leap out of Auralith and into Skarengard where he releases the survivors. Captain Brok orders the guards to assist with recovering the survivors. Without blankets, they use their own cloaks and coats to cover them and keep warm by a fire. Ken takes a closer look at Rog seeing the gentleness in his eyes. Just like back then, Rog's soft spot for people kicked in and he took the people's safety as his priority. Unlike other monsters he and Emi encountered, Rog has no mana surging in him. No powers that would help him gain the upper hand. After making sure the survivors are in good hands, Rog turns back to Auralith with anger and jumps back into the fight. Emi asks Ken what is going on. Ken responds about what he noticed about Rog and thought it was really cool to be able to use only his strength without the need for mana. Emi notices that Ken was geeking out, which made her smile. In the midst of aiding the survivors, Sylvara calls everyone over to talk about a back up plan, in case the fight goes south. Emi remembered Sylvara saying she was going to look for defensive plans before they went to look for Lunthar and asks Sylvara what she had in mind. She pulls out the scroll and suggests they use "Oppenheimer" on Ghidorah. King Arden is shocked that her own daughter found out about it as it was meant to be confidential. Ken asks what kind of spell it is and Bjorn answers saying it is a very powerful spell that requires the strongest of mages to cast as it requires a lot of mana. It was tried on the Demon King's castle once and it failed. He adds it was around the same time Godzilla first appeared suggesting this same spell must have been the culprit for bringing Ken, Godzilla, and potentially Ghidorah into this world. Ken asks if he can see the scroll. Sylvara nods and allows him to see the scroll. He sees the effect causes a large, mushroom cloud that pours black rain. Ken's face turns pale realizing they made a magic spell for a nuclear bomb. As Rog takes the survivors to safety, Godzilla drags Ghidorah back to prevent the dragon from chasing the mountain troll. Ghidorah shrieks in anger kicking Godzilla away, but keeps holding on. He has his foe clasped by the wing preventing Ghidorah to fly away. Biting down on one of the wings, Godzilla rips off the wing tearing it from the shoulder. Ghidorah falls to the ground while Godzilla throws away the wing. Ghidorah whips his tail slamming at Godzilla knocking him back. Rog jumps in, with the head of his spear in hand, and starts stabbing the dragon multiple times. Ghidorah grabs Rog off his back electrocutes him with electric shocks. Godzilla attacks Ghidorah from behind and holds the dragon as Rog picks himself up and rips the other wing off. Rog is pleased to see Ghidorah humiliated. With the three headed dragon down on the ground, the storm influenced by Ghidorah was expected to break. The storm persists, yet it has gotten more fierce into a raging hell fire. Rog snarls clutching the spear head in hand. Godzilla charges and fires his mana breath to the sky as if challenging an unseen opponent. Lightning rains from the storm now targeting Godzilla and Rog backing them away from Ghidorah's body. A lightning bolt strikes Ghidorah charging him back up. The false king rises and shrieks into sky commanding the storm to destroy everything. He follows it up firing anti-gravity beams being fired into the air. The beams come crashing down on Godzilla and Rog along with a barrage of lightning bolts striking the monsters with full force. Ken, Emi, King Arden, Captain Brok, Father Martin, and Bjorn all turn to Sylvara holding the magic scroll for "Oppenheimer." They learn from Ken black rain is contaminated rain with dust and ash combined with the essence of radioactive particles. If exposed, it would have negative and long-term health effects. It is like poison if made contact by skin, clothes, or ingested through food or water. On top of that information, the land will not be safe to rebuild as the effects linger for many years. With that information in mind, they debate if they should go ahead with using "Oppenheimer." Ken, Emi, Father Martin, and King Arden are opposed to using the spell on the land of the capital city whereas Brok, Bjorn, and Sylvara are for using it even if it means saving the rest of Vaeloria.

  1. "Oppenheimer"

The storm looms over a now destroyed Auralith cracks and pops from Ghidorah's anti-gravity beams being fired in the air. Bolts of lightning striking down on Godzilla and Rog. Godzilla fires his mana breath at Ghidorah destroying all three of his heads. The beams firing continues and Godzilla snarls at the storm and Rog holding the spear tightly. Emi asks Ken with concern in her voice if this is normal. Ken, beyond disbelief, shakes his head. This is the first he has ever seen Ghidorah act in such a way. Ghidorah's body bubbles and electric tendrils appear where the wings once were. The body explodes with a thunderous bang spraying flesh, guts, and gore. The tendrils climb to the storm and the storm disperses revealing a ball of a radiant gold light. Three long necks and two tails grow from the light and red eyes glowing. The new alien form's cries sounding like souls of the damned pierces the air irritating Rog's and Godzilla's ears from being so loud. Everyone witnessing Ghidorah take on a new ethereal form cover their ears from his loud shrieking. Nothing makes sense to Ken. This was not something he expected. After it had stopped, they look upon Ghidorah with fear unable to comprehend what they are looking at. Emi calls it a Kaiser, a title meaning "Emperor" in her elven tongue.

Ghidorah from "Godzilla: The Planet Eater"
Ghidorah in Godzilla: The Planet Eater to represent Ghidorah's "Kaiser" form

This is not a monster they are dealing with anymore. Godzilla and Rog, for the first time, are feeling fear as they slowly back away. Kaiser dives towards his foes as Godzilla and Rog take a stand to make a push back. They try to grab the left and right heads without success as Kaiser moves through them and wrap around Godzilla and Rog. With their gaping maws they bite down and force them down on their hands and knees. The middle head stares at them judging the two to decide which one it wants to kill first. At Skarengard, everyone watch as Kaiser overpowers the titans they looked up to as protectors. Ken knows this new form is not normal in his world. Bjorn speculates the Demon King must have altered Ghidorah from feeding it those souls stones. Sylvara unseals the scroll and everyone turns back to the elf spy, who argues the decision needs to be made now. The weight of the decision is heavy, but as they consider the choices they have there really is no going back either way. By using the spell, at least Vaeloria will be saved even if they can't rebuild Auralith on the same spot anymore. If they don't use the spell then Godzilla and Rog will die and the Demon King will send his army to take over Vaeloria. With heavy hearts, everyone who were against using the spell changed their vote. Ken remembers Japan's history has been a dark one, but this war is not between countries over radical politics. The fate of this world could all be hinging on this very moment. King Arden can always move and rebuild his capital city elsewhere. Emi, holding onto her journal tightly, objects to using this kind of power, yet if it means preserving her mother's memories and bringing Vaeloria to a better tomorrow then she is for using the spell. Father Martin stubbornly changes his vote pouting about his book. He notes, however, that if this "thing" is imbued with demon magic then they should try to purify the spell by embedding holy magic. Kaiser lowers his middle head towards Rog considering killing him first. Godzilla slowly charges his mana breath. The sound of the humming from his dorsal plates prompts Kaiser's right head to electrocute his arch nemesis. The middle head turns towards Godzilla hissing in his face. Godzilla's eyes glaring back with defiance and let's out a loud, raging roar. Godzilla's mana breath explodes into the middle head's face and then on the other two freeing himself and Rog. They form a circle and Ken warns to keep their eyes closed from the explosion before they begin. Bjorn, having been one of the original mages to have cast Oppenheimer before, begins to chant incantation for the spell. Father Martin begins praying the blessing spell to empower Oppenheimer. Godzilla has freed himself and Rog both ready to fight. Rog takes a fire lit tree and throws it at the non-contact manifestation. Kaiser whips Rog with the tendril like wings knocking him out of the fight leaving only Godzilla to stand. Kaiser fires a barrage of anti-gravity beams as Godzilla counters with a fully powered mana breath. A large halo forms over Kaiser decorated in sigils and a cross in the middle. Kaiser looks above and shields itself with its wings before the spell made collision. A beam of light hits Kaiser's shield, but it is not enough. The middle head broke away from the beam fight to focus on pushing back on the Oppenheimer spell and Godzilla makes one final push causing a blinding explosion. Ken, Emi, Sylvara, King Arden, Captain Brok, Father Martin, and Bjorn all focus their mana on the spell. It is taking a toll on their stamina unsure if any of them are able to go on. They see Godzilla's mana breath hit Oppenheimer and immediately they turn away from trying to not look at the blast. A huge cloud of dust storms at them sweeping them off their feet. The last thing they hear is Kaiser screaming before the blast's thunderous bang came rolling. Rog wakes up covered in sand and dust. He brushes himself off and stares into the sky to find an explosion in mid-air. After the dust storm settles, everyone is scattered in different areas. They look to see the aftermath seeing a rain cloud pouring over where Auralith once stood. No signs of neither Ghidorah nor Godzilla. A mix of different feelings swirls. Everyone was relieved Ghidorah is gone, but it came at a great cost. Nobody was singing songs of a great victory about a hero. There were no celebrations, no reward, no resolve of their burdens. Godzilla gave his life so everyone else can live. Ken thought it can't be over for him. Godzilla is not that easy to kill or get rid of. The Demon King watches Ghidorah get vaporized by Oppenheimer. He can't say he is happy with the results. He assumes Godzilla is gone for good, but the monster severely delayed Vaeloria's fall. His treasured weapon is destroyed, the mana wells are healing, and Vaeloria is rebuilding. He must craft his next attack more carefully. Months later, New Auralith is under construction. King Arden is currently residing in a private housing while his next castle is under construction. Rog would join in on the reconstruction of both New Auralith and Ironcrag, but at his leisure he goes to look at the ocean always looking to see if his friend is out there. Father Martin joins Emi and Ken at the quarantined site of Old Auralith Ruins wearing special gear. Every time Ken comes to the ruins, he is always feeling uneasy about stepping in contaminated ruins. They were lucky the black rain didn't contaminate the water after months of testing. Crops, however, had to be burned. Emi has been visiting the area where Godzilla stood in his last battle always bringing flowers to lay. Father Martin digs through the rubble, eyes widening with excitement he had found his book. It was a black notebook that had scribbles all over the pages. Ever since the aftermath at Old Auralith, Sylvara had finally made up with her father about the incident and understood her father was doing what he thought was best for her. From time to time, she checks in on Ken and Emi to see if they found any signs of Godzilla. They shook their heads confirming Godzilla's absence. However, Father Martin did find the book he was looking for. It details a temporary solution for the soul gems, but it needs to be used on a vessel. More so, the book pertains to an underground city beneath Vaeloria that the priest has been raving about. Sylvara, Ken, and Emi believe it is time to take another adventure and pay a special visit to this city, if it exists. Suddenly, the earth shakes beneath their feet. The ground ruptures and tears open causing the trio to tumble to the ground. Rog and everyone at the New Auralith build site run to see what caused the quake. Rows of what looks like jagged pillars rise from the ground glowing a blue and green aura. The body and head rise revealing Godzilla is alive, well, and fully charged. He lets out a bellowing roar. People cheer for their savior's return as well as Ken, Emi, and Sylvara. King Arden is overjoyed when he has heard the news of Godzilla's return. They watch as the king of the monsters returns to the ocean to rest once more.

Characters:

  • Dr. Kentaro Yamane - Ever since his first appearance in 1954, Godzilla's role has changed from a monster that sought destruction to Earth's protector. Continuing his grandfather's work to study Godzilla, Dr. Kentaro Yamane watches Godzilla battle his arch nemesis, King Ghidorah, until he is sucked into a rift with Godzilla and King Ghidorah. Finding himself in a new world reliant on magic, Ken meets Emi, the half-elf zoologist, in Lunerith Glade. With her found fascination with Godzilla and her friendly curiosity towards Dr. Ken Yamane, the duo travel together following Godzilla's trail.

  • Emi Willowshade - At the time when she was very young, her mother was banished from her elven village for committing a taboo, which was mating with a human. For some time, Emi and her mother lived in Lunerith Glade, a mystical forest full of wildlife. This is where Emi starts making friends with animals while also learning magic from her mother. One day, she and her mother were surrounded by a group of prejudice elves who beat them to submission. Being too weak to protect herself or her mother, Emi let out a loud cry for help. Suddenly, a monster appears attacking the elves. The monster, a giant bear with fur glowing with mana, chases the elves away from Emi and her mother. However, Emi's mother does not survive the ordeal. Because of the monster's noble act, Emi's occupation as a zoologist takes shape with eagerness to learn if there are more monsters out there like the one that saved her. She names her savior "Lunthar, The Forest Monarch" and hoping she meets it again one day. During her travels, she comes across a man in ragged, otherworldly clothes and introduces himself as Dr. Ken Yamane. After Godzilla's quick, but fiery battle against a dragon, Emi found what she learns Dr. Yamane has an extensive history with Godzilla, which prompts her to learn more and follow Dr. Yamane as a companion on his travels.

  • Sylvara Krenn - Sylvara Krenn is an elven spy for the kingdom of Vaeloria. She was born in Ash Veil Hollow, located near Lunerith Glade, but more rustic and cozy. A perfect place for elves to travel for festivals. When Sylvara was young, a giant serpent called Vyrneth ravages the elven village. Her illusion magic saves her life from being seen by Vyrneth. In the aftermath, soldiers from the Vaelorian army arrive to look for survivors and found the young Sylvara. Recognizing her talent for illusion magic, the king takes her in as his own daughter and enlists her to be trained as a spy for the kingdom. Fast forward years later, she is now Vaeloria's top spy. As word of Godzilla's first appearance and feats start making waves, she was tasked by King Arthur to follow the adventurers who have been trailing Godzilla. Watching them and Godzilla closely, her memories of Vyrneth's attack came swirling back questioning Godzilla as a protector, but her loyalty to Vaelaria and his majesty has also been shaken seeing missteps in the king's growing obsession of the monster.

  • King Arden Vaelor - King Arden sees himself as a proud and noble king. In his younger years, he was always on the front-lines fighting the demon army. He was someone that was proud to stand and fight side-by-side by his troops as a real leader should and Vaeloria hailed him for his bravery and honor. Years after the king's rise to power, Arden's wife, Queen Lirien, was ambushed and killed by a monster called Vyrneth. Ever since that day, his hatred for monsters grew. He saw them as evil beings just like the Demon King and his army. When he was introduced to Sylvara and heard her story, he sympathized with her and took her in as his own. With Godzilla now introduced to Vaeloria and his impact on the kingdom, he grows an obsession that brings memories back again and reigniting old wounds.

Monsters:

  • Godzilla - In 1954, he was woken up by nuclear tests. He was burning with rage like a god of destruction bringing about judgement against humanity. Over the years, more monsters appeared to challenge Godzilla and humanity, which prompted him to go from a destructive force of nature to protector of Earth. During his battle with King Ghidorah, a portal opens and he falls through the portal with Ghidorah and Dr. Kentaro Yamane sending them to the kingdom of Vaeloria. On his travels, he comes across monsters he has never encountered, but must find an alternative energy source for radiation before his supply of energy is depleted.

  • Flame Dragon - Godzilla's first opponent since arriving in Vaeloria. It has a twisted and cocky personality that likes to toy with its prey before devouring them or setting them on fire. A flame dragon is usually tough to kill even for a highly skilled adventurer. However, Godzilla kills the dragon with ease shocking Emi and the other villagers, except for Dr. Yamane.

  • Lunthar, the Forest Monarch - A giant bear-like monster with mana flowing through his fur, Lunthar appeared in Lunerith Glade saving Emi and chasing away a group of prejudice elves. He is what gave Emi the drive to become a zoologist and the "Monarch" title Lunthar was given. Emi came up with "Monarch" as a title for benevolent monsters whose motives are to protect certain territories and people. After hearing Emi's story, Dr. Yamane doubts Lunthar's motives are clear enough to grant such a title as whether he was there to really save Emi or if his attack was purely territorial. Regardless, Emi hopes to meet Lunthar again to thank him for rescuing her.

  • The Were-Beast - A wolf-life monster conjured up by the Demon King to test Godzilla's power. Attacking Godzilla in Lunerith Glade with great speed he was quite the nuisance for the king of the monsters. Emi first thought it was Lunthar, which reminded her of that very day she lost her mother. The shape, size, and colorization were all wrong and The Were-Beast was brimming with demonic energy rather than mana. Godzilla kills the beast with his atomic breath resulting with an annoyed and amused Demon King as he continues reviving Ghidorah.

  • Rog, the Iron Monarch - Living at the top of the mountain, the mountain troll named Rog protects a Dwarven village called Ironcrag, located close to mountain's base. Long ago, Rog protected this village from a demon army ambush with his brute strength gaining legendary status by the village. When Godzilla appeared, Rog fought fiercely to protect the village and Godzilla gave him recognition of his strength and honor. The next time Rog meets Godzilla again is when they team up to fight Ghidorah at Vaelaria's capital city.

  • Vyrneth - A serpent-like monster which attacked Sylvara's village during her childhood and the king's wife, Queen Lirien, years earlier. Vyrneth would first appear attacking Queen Lirien and her caravan during her travels. Years later, Vyrneth would appear again to terrorize Ash Veil Hollow during a festival. Sylvara awakens her illusion magic using it to hide from Vyrneth during its rampage spitting acidic venom at the elves. This has united King Arden and Sylvara in a shared enemy and poisoning their paranoia associating Godzilla with Vyrneth.

  • The Mana Monster - Resting in a gorge filled with crystals, this beast is always feeding on mana. A four-legged reptile covered in mana crystals has the abilities to command any element. The mana monster was able to tire out Godzilla into a weakened state before running out of its own mana. However, Godzilla used the last of his energy to defeat the mana monster blasting with his atomic breath into the monster's mouth killing it instantly.

  • King Ghidorah - The primary antagonist and most powerful of Godzilla's opponents, Ghidorah is an alpha predator that seeks to destroy planets. However, Godzilla has always stood in his way of his mission of destroying Earth. When he entered Vaeloria, he was found by the Demon King and his army heavily damaged and battered by his last battle with Godzilla. The Demon King had his hellish army to heal the monster and prep him to become their ultimate weapon to use against the kingdom of Vaeloria.

Ever since the anime trilogy movies and Singular Point, Godzilla in anime has had a lack of characters and a story. Furthermore, Godzilla in these anime don't really have much personality to make them memorable. That is what "Godzilla Divine" does. We see Godzilla in a way we have not seen him before and how he interacts. By putting Godzilla in a fantasy setting, he can't rely on consuming radiation. He is forced to find an alternative source of energy while also keeping himself on his toes against opponents he has not dealt with before. As each episode progresses, Godzilla gets weaker and we see him struggling while also connecting him with the main characters that have different views on how Godzilla is affecting this magical world.

Which brings us to the main characters, Dr. Ken Yamane and Emi Willowshade, who have witnessed Godzilla's fights since the beginning of the anime. Dr. Yamane has studied Godzilla longer, but he and Emi know and learn first hand that Godzilla is that driving force this world needs. This world was about to be overrun by demons and monsters and Godzilla is the only one keeping them in check. On top of that, we dive into their personal stories as to how these characters became who they are and why they take great interest in the monsters. It keeps the audience engaged and attached to the characters on a personal level.

Then, there are those that see Godzilla as a threat because of their negative experiences with monsters. King Arden Vaelor and Sylvara Krenn had first hand experiences with a monster that killed their families and loved ones. With those memories, their vision of Godzilla are blurred with King Arden more so as he is obsessed on the idea of getting rid of Godzilla. However, he realizes his mistake when King Ghidorah arrives and rights his wrongdoing to let Godzilla go and fight the three headed dragon. What I really like about this story even more is how this world perceives Godzilla differently from where Godzilla was originally from. We know Godzilla as being a tragic monster baptized by the fires of the hydrogen bomb tests and was viewed as a threat to humanity that was forced into protecting our world. In this new world, he is seen as something more divine. He is seen as a miracle sent by the gods to disrupt the Demon King's plot of conquering Vaeloria and saving the people. While not all agree, the majority of the people see it as though their prayers are being answered.

I will say that my writing for these summaries do get repetitive and do get longer and more detailed with each episode. I even presented this idea to a couple of people and commenting that the isekai genre is too overdone, which I honestly do get. There are a lot of fantasy anime that use the isekai stories out of lack of originality. However, the direction is to find a way for Godzilla to get to this fantasy world and how he struggles to adapt to it. We don't always see Godzilla when he is at his most vulnerable. Usually, when he is most vulnerable the answer is always giving him a nuke because it's available and we want to move the plot forward to get to the action. What happens if he is vulnerable and that supply is not available? How does it get resolved? That is the idea that I have. Put him in a situation where he experiences somewhere new and also making him vulnerable at the same time. Of course, I added some nods to the older movies to make the story familiar. I am already thinking of ideas for a season two, which explores this mysterious underground city as well as leaning towards Lunthar's warning to Ken and Emi about how Godzilla is not a protector like he and Rog are. Godzilla is being set up to destroy villages and cities by the people in this underground city with receptors that act similarly to the ORCA calling on him like a predator challenging him to a fight. The goal of the people from this city from below want to colonize the surface for themselves with false promises to King Arden of restoring Vaeloria. Their "guardian" Megalon joins in acting like a hero when he is just being controlled. As for the issue of the soul gems, our protagonists are able to find a vessel with a mechanical golem they can test on. The golem awakens and claims its name is "J. J." and assists the heroes in proving Godzilla's innocence and saving Vaeloria from Megalon and the underground invaders. If you are liking this idea and want to see episodes for season two just let me know in the comments section. Thank you all for taking the time to check out my idea.
