As San Diego Comic Con starts to slowly crawl towards opening weekend, we get a little bit of news coming from director, Mike Dougherty. He was asked on Twitter if we should expect Godzilla at the convention and replied back giving a simple yes to the person's question. Through out the months leading up to this event, we have always been speculating that Godzilla: King Of The Monsters will make an appearance in some shape or form. Even though Dougherty gave a simple answer, he basically confirms that we should expect something Godzilla related at San Diego Comic Con. He will most likely show the trailer for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, but I am unsure if we will see anything released the same day. Perhaps we will see something. For the past couple of years, Warner Bros. has been releasing stuff on the same day as their events. We got to see the trailer for Kong: Skull Island at the 2016 convention and we got at least a teased image of Mothra for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters at the 2017 convention. It was only at the 2013 event where the trailer for Godzilla (2014) was tightly guarded. So, hopefully, Warner Bros. will continue that trend this year by continuing releasing stuff on the same day as their event.
Do you guys think we will see a trailer this year? Do you think Warner Bros. will have the event guarded tightly like they did with Godzilla (2014)? Or are you guys just excited that we're at least getting something Godzilla related whether we get a trailer or not?
