Jurassic World 3 Calls For The Return Of Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, And Laura Dern

This is the first time that all three of them will appear on the big screen since Jurassic Park.

Ever since Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom we have not learned much about the third Jurassic World movie. Only whispers floating around that director Collin Trevorrow is looking to bring back Jeff Golblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern to play their iconic roles from Jurassic Park. On Tuesday night, it was officially revealed that the original cast from Jurassic Park will return in Jurassic World 3 along side Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

This will be the first time that all three of them will appear on the big screen since Jurassic Park. While Goldblum was in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as Dr. Ian Malcolm his part in the movie was small. Originally, Goldblum's character had a bigger role, but was cut in the final draft. In Jurassic Park III, while both Laura Dern and Sam Neill were in the movie together Laura Dern had a very small role compared to Sam Neill. In an interview with Collin Trevorrow, he has always wanted to see all three of the original cast come together again for another movie.

Last week, Jurassic World: Battle At Big Rock aired on the FX channel. It was an eight minute special that took place after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom about a family of five that were out camping in the woods when a fight between a family of Nasutoceratops and an Allosaurus breaks out in the middle of the camping grounds. It gave the impression of what Jurassic World 3 will be like and with the original cast returning to reprise their roles it will be interesting to see how they will react and interact with the dinosaurs in the United States and with Chris Pratt's and Bryce Howard's characters.

Jurassic World 3 will be released June 11, 2021.
