Jurassic World 3 Has An Official Title

On Tuesday, February 25th, Jurassic World director, Colin Trevorrow, revealed the official title for the third movie in the Jurassic World trilogy. The new title for the third film is called Jurassic World Dominion. This title was revealed by Colin Trevorrow himself with a picture of a clap board with the movie's official title.

The title has left some people confused by the new title, but actor Chris Pratt gave an explanation why the third movie is titled 'Dominion'. The definition for dominion means "sovereignty or control" and the sentence used as an example said, "man's attempt to establish dominion over nature". In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar were transported to the main land and have started to take control of their new environment. In the short film, Jurassic World: Battle At Big Rock, we see how the dinosaurs and humans interact and resulting with the dinosaurs attacking the humans either for food or territory.

Ever since the original 1993 film, Jurassic Park, the recurring theme in almost every movie that Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) makes a point of is that it is never a good idea to play God. Dinosaurs had their shot millions of years ago and were destined for extinction. Even in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Dr. Malcolm was for letting the dinosaurs die on Isla Nublar because it was nature's way of correcting a mistake made by mankind and if mankind is not careful then the dinosaurs may replace humans as the dominant species.

Jurassic World: Dominion had started filming February 21st under the production name, 'Arcadia' and is scheduled to release June 11, 2021. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Justice Smith, BD Wong, Daniella Pineda, Omar Sy, and Isabella Sermon are set to return for what could be the conclusion to the "Jurassic" series.
